In 2027, WrestleMania will head to the Middle East when WWE takes its signature event to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the first time it will be held outside North America.

WWE announced on Friday that the "Showcase of the Immortals" will be part of "Riyadh Season" after being held in North American cities since 1985.

"This is an opportunity to show the world that WWE is a global brand that reaches every corner of the world and excites fans from everywhere," WWE chief creative officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque said.

Earlier this week, chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority Turki Alalshikh said on a live Snapchat video that WrestleMania was coming to his native country.

"WrestleMania is already the biggest date on the wrestling calendar, and this announcement marks a significant moment in our partnership with WWE," Alalshikh said in a statement. "We deeply respect the legacy of WrestleMania and the global prestige it holds among wrestling fans around the world."

WrestleMania won't be the first WWE event in Saudia Arabia, as the company has been hosting events there since 2018. That year, WWE agreed to a $1 billion deal with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to run multiple shows there over the next decade. The 2026 Royal Rumble will be the first of WWE's "Big Four" events to be held in the kingdom.

Las Vegas, which hosted WrestleMania this year, will host the event again on April 18-19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium.
